Hybrid-excited Flux-switching Machine

As a solution to the magnetic field regulation problem in flux-switching permanent magnet motors,this paper presents a novel parallel hybrid excited flux-switching machine,which takes on high power density,intrinsic sinusoidal back EMF,and good field regulation ability.Based on field simulation,this paper made detailed analysis on the inductance characteristics and the field-weakening performance established the mathematical model and brought out a new current vector control strategy.The results show that the strategy achieved good static characteristics as well as maximum torque/copper loss ratio.A principle prototype was built to validate its excellent field regulation performance as well as the effectiveness of the presented control strategy
