Study on the Syton X30 Colloidal Silica of Monsanto

Abstract Based on microstructurc analysis and a large numbers of technological tests for colloidal silica of Syton X30 of Monsanto and C-03 produced in our country, the immanent differences between X30 and C-03 colloidal silica and their influence on the properties of coating and mould shell were revealed. The way to improve the quality of colloidal silica of Chinese make was found out.
