Study on Gelled Dinitrogen Tetroxide Propellant

As a kind of oxidant in bipropellants,dinitrogen tetroxide as well as its gelling has been introduced.The choosing of gellants and the preparation process of gelled dinitrogen tetroxide was explored primarily.It was indicated that a gelled dinitrogen tetroxide with high viscidity was got successfully while the quantity of chosen gellants added in the propellant was less than 3 percent and the method of combining was with a low speed for mixing and with a high speed for churning.
