Di-TMPTA was synthesized from di-TMP and acrylic acid by direct esterification method.The influence of reaction conditions,such as the ratio of acrylic to di-TMP,the amount of solvent,the component and concentration of the catalyst,and the component and concentration of the polymerization inhibitor,was studied.The results indicated that the most suitable conditions were as follows:the mole ratio of a crylic acid to di-TMP was 4.5∶1,5% toluene-p-sulfonic acid was used as the catalyst,1% hydroquinone was used as the polymerization inhibitor,the reaction temperature was about 85℃,and the reaction time was above 6hwas used.The esterification reaction rate was above 90%.The product was qualitatively and quantitatively analysed by IR,HPLC and GC-MC.
