Chemical Industry of DOPT

Studied the effection of Pressure about esterification of compounding DOTP from terephthalic acid and isooctyl alcohol.Compared to the experimental data of ordinary pressure reaction,pressurized reaction and negative pressure reaction,the results show that at the early reaction keep low pressure as far as possible is advantageous to the esterification to the positive direction when on ensures ensure heating up,this time the influence of temperature is larger than le chatelier’s principle;At later stage,appropriate negative pressure is beneficial to increase octanol back flow,promote yielding water,and can greatly lower the temperature to the final temperature simultaneously.
