Analytical methodology for determining levels of dinotefuran in Fraxinus velutina has been established. A reverse HPLC system consisting of an ODS column with a mixture of methanol/water (15:85) as the mobile phase was used. The flow rate was 0.80 mL.min-1 and the UV detection wave-lenth was 270 nm. The limit of qualifications (LOQ) was 0.01 mg/L (r = 0.9996) with a recovery rate of 98.10% and RSD of 1.32% for 6 samples.The relationship can be described using the linear equation: Y = 4973.8 + 39651.3 X.
