Due to less traditional energy source and worse environmental protection problems, more countries around the world attach importance to the reduction of the fuel consumption and emission of the vehicle. The hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) is one alternative, which seems to fulfill the requirements without sacrificing performance or existing production facilities. HEV combines the strongpoint of the traditional vehicle and the battery electric vehicle and is the most successful electric vehicle.
