With origins dating back to 1903, ANSI Z21.1– Household Cooking Gas Appliancesrepresents over a century of standards development for household cooking appliances. In 2016, the Standard was harmonized with CAN 1.1 – Domestic Gas Ranges, resulting in a single resource developed to meet the unique requirements of both Canada and the United States.
