Design and Study of Disk Permanent Magnet Generator Applicable to Low Wind Speed

With the increasing of energy sources consume and environment problem being serious gradually, the development and utilization of new and renewable energy is considered. Wind energy is clean and non-polluting. Wind power becomes more and more mature. It can generate more power. But the biggest problem is that its application is limited greatly by the distribution of wind energy resources. In order to use wind power in the wind energy-scarcity area of 24% of Chinese area or in cities, a new generator should be designed to resolve this problem. The effective working hours of the wind turbine in the area which wind energy can merely be used of 50% of Chinese area can also be extend.This paper introduces a novel DCPMSG (Disk Coreless Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator).
