Preparation of dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP) through the alcoholysis of waste polyethylene terephthalate catalyzed by solid super-acid S_2O_8~(2-)/ZnO was studied.The structure and properties of S_2O_2~(2-)/ZnO were characterized with XRD,SEM,XPS and FT-IR techniques.The effects of the solid super-acid preparation conditions on the catalytic properties were also investigated. The results showed that the super-acid S_2O_8~(2-)/ZnO calcined at 673 K for 5 h was stable for the topic reaction,and the yield of DOTP reached 91.6% at 210-220℃for 3 h.
